Microsoft OneNote

The Microsoft OneNote 2013 is an innovative app that can be utilized to store information. The interesting thing is that this digital book stores the information once you write on it. Similar to computers, you can store information in the cloud. It can also store audio recordings.

Teachers can use it as an overhead by projecting notes from it onto a screen. Students can use it to organize and their share work. Since documents are transferable students can retrieve a lesson even when they are absent because the resources are online. If absent a student can know what is going on in real time. Additionally, teachers do not have to wait for students to copy down information.

  2. Annette,

Microsoft One-Note looks very interesting. I currently use Evernote for lesson plans and other documents/pictures that I use one multiple devices and I imagine it is similar in structure and function. What is your favorite feature for Microsoft One Note? For me, Evernote transfers information stored in my iPad to my computer via the cloud. What does does One Note really do well?

    1. Dan,
I have not had an opportunity to use OneNote as yet. However, I like the features that allows for collecting information in various formats (e.g. audio/video recordings and typed/ hand written notes). I believe that OneNote could help with the organization and storage of notes. Additionally, it can facilitate collaboration and the sharing of documents.
